No fun you're feelin a bit down.

If you're riding one wave and you're really used to the rhythm, then if you get knocked off it can take awhile to get back on again.

But I know you will.

And you do too :)

Happy thoughts,

I sooo know what you mean. Crap food or alcohol makes me feel so crappy for sooo long. Not worth it - I really try to focus on that bad feeling and remember it, not rush through it.
;-0 Crazy but true.

Yep. I feel what you're saying. It takes me a very long time to get into a rhythm with working out. I'd like to kid myself and say that I like it, but I don't. The reason is its been so long since i've been in any kind of shape ( i know this is backward) so its hard for me to get through a workout without feeling like I put entirely too much effort into something that should have been relatively low intensity and easy to do. This is the very thing i'm hoping to figure out, in the months ahead. I have a ton of faith that i'll get there with encouraging people to watch such as you! Keep it coming!

thanks for the notes you guys... Sean, Kelly, Stephanie!

Stephanie, can I tell you: if you are not enjoying your workouts then you are doing the wrong thing for your workouts. Try to find something you find fun. For me, seeing how heavy I can lift, losing my breathing pattern on the seawall, testing my limits is all FUN for me. Yah, I hate it. But I love it. I love to hate it. If you don't like whatever you're doing, ask yourself "What do I love doing"... swimming? walking? playing with the dog? giving the kids horseyback rides? skipping? hopscotch? find what you enjoy and turn THAT into your workout. You'll be far more likely to hit it and want to go back to it! right Kelly & Sean? Am I right?

luv ya all!

Stephanie,

I totally agree with GirlwithNoname on this one.

If you're not doing something you enjoy doing, then you shouldn't do it.

Main reason?

You won't stick with it if you don't like doing it.

Even if it's not the "Fitness Guru's" advice, just find something you like doing and work up from there.

Better to do something than nothing.

It's a bit backwards in the "fitness world" today. Everyone is so intense they don't really let people relax into it.

And you really can relax into it and still get great results.

Over time you might find yourself more motivated to take on more intense workouts. But do that LATER not sooner.

You'll never GET to later if you don't at least DO the "sooner."

Make sense? :)

Don't worry if it's easy.

Just do it.

Have fun!
